“Shin” is the result of a dynamic collaboration between two distinct yet complementary voices in the independent music scene.

Hawta, a Kurdish rapper and songwriter, has been active since 2010. His work is deeply rooted in social commentary, offering a raw and honest reflection of life, identity, and struggle in contemporary Kurdish society. With over a decade of experience, Hawta’s lyrics often serve as a bridge between personal stories and collective realities, voiced through powerful flows and poetic intensity.

On the other side stands Dance of Soul, a project launched by Mohamad Nikpour, which emerged in 2021 as an exploration of electro-acoustic soundscapes. He blends traditional sonic influences with modern production techniques to create immersive, groove-driven experiences that resonate on both emotional and experimental levels.

“Shin” is these two artistic paths converge. Hawta’s sharp and expressive rap performance finds a new dimension through the deep, layered electronic textures crafted by Dance of Soul.
