Adib Ghorbani is an Iranian pianist, composer, songwriter, filmmaker, and actor based in the United States. He holds a Ph.D. in Integrated Composition, Improvisation, and Technology (ICIT) from the University of California, Irvine. His doctoral research, Silent Music, explores the integration of live performance, mime, and motion-sensor technology to investigate the role of silence in musical expression.

Adib’s creative practice is deeply interdisciplinary, spanning a wide array of forms including sound design, electronic dance music, theater compositions, and film scores. He is currently based in Los Angeles, where he works as a freelance artist—creating, performing, and teaching across various mediums.
